2.1 Information you provide directly. When you create an account, apply as an artist, submit a brief, or make a purchase we collect information including your name, email address, phone number, location, payment information, and any other information you choose to provide.

2.2 Artist information. When applying as an artist we collect additional information including your portfolio, artist statement, social media handles, pricing information, and artwork details.

2.3 Partner information. When applying as a service provider we collect business information including business name, contact details, service area, and business size.

2.4 Usage information. We automatically collect information about how you use the platform including pages visited, searches performed, artworks viewed, and time spent on the platform.

2.5 Payment information. Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.

2.6 Communications. We store messages sent through the SOLÈNE HAUS platform messaging system. This is necessary for platform security, fraud prevention, and enforcement of our Terms of Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

— Operate and improve the SOLÈNE HAUS platform — Process applications, purchases, and bookings — Match buyers with artists through our discovery engine — Send transactional emails including confirmations, receipts, and booking details — Send platform updates and marketing communications (you can opt out at any time) — Detect and prevent fraud, off-platform transactions, and Terms of Service violations — Monitor platform messaging for prohibited conduct — Comply with legal obligations — Generate anonymised analytics and market insights

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 With other users. Artist profile information — name, location, bio, mediums, pricing, and artwork details — is visible to buyers on the platform. Buyer information is shared with artists only to the extent necessary to fulfil a purchase or respond to an enquiry, through the platform messaging system.

4.2 With service providers. We share information with trusted third-party service providers including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email). These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.

4.3 With partners. When a sale triggers an automatic referral to a framing, shipping, or installation partner we share the minimum necessary information — artwork details, buyer location, and contact information — to fulfil the service.

4.4 Legal requirements. We may disclose your information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of SOLÈNE HAUS, our users, or the public.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with row-level security controls. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on SOLÈNE HAUS servers.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter in accordance with our legal obligations.
